PLASTIC LICENSE PLATES
Our  Polyethylene License Plates are made of .055" white polyethylene and are printed using screen process printing sometimes called "silk screen." We use the highest quality exterior screen ink.  If you want a plate that doesn't scuff or scratch, this is the plate for you. The problem with aluminum license plates, especially  when you're selling large quantities at sporting events, etc., is they scuff and scratch easily. Once they are on the vehicle, they last the longest, but if you scratch the plate before it's on the vehicle, you can't sell the plate. Another advantage with polyethylene is we can print an entire background color since we die cut the plate after printing. With aluminum plates, we can't print to the edge of the plate and four slots. Polyethylene is not at all like styrene. Many cheap plates are made of styrene, which yellows, and then gets brittle, cracks and eventually breaks off. Polyethylene remains white and flexible for many years. Quantities start at 500 because we have to die cut the plates, and it's just not worth die cutting less than 500 plates.

This includes 2 colors screen printed on white .055" polyethylene with rounded corners and 4 slots for attachment to vehicle. Simple artwork and logos are included. If the 2 colors are closer than 1/8" from each other, 2 screens and setups are necessary, resulting in a flat $65 screen and setup surcharge. A third color can be printed for an additional $65 screen and setup charge plus 25 cents per plate surcharge.  See order information.
